Cabo San Lucas, Mexico (January 3, 2004) - The Armonia Spa at the new Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Holistic Retreat & Spa, opening on April 1, 2005, is a peaceful sanctuary by the sea for body, mind, and spirit. Created to stress wellness rituals for men and women, the luxurious Armonia spa was specifically designed to meet the individual health needs and goals of its guests.
Unlike most vacation spas where guests receive little guidance in selecting the types and timing of treatments, the highly trained staff at Armonia specializes in designing 'Individual Treatment Paths.' These Treatment Paths allow guests to achieve their personal goals, from pure relaxation and de-stressing to specific therapeutic and beauty results.
Dr. Alejandro Santander, the resort's general manager who personally oversees the spa and fitness facilities, has promoted holistic wellness and natural therapies in his medical practice. He will now apply that successful philosophy to Armonia where guests can benefit from a personal consultation with Dr. Santander to discuss their specific health and fitness requirements.
At Armonia, guests will find many unique and inspiring treatment rituals including:
- Welcoming Treatments - to establish transition from the outer world to the inner world.
- Cleansing & Scrubs - Using plant extracts, natural oils, sea salts and waters with trace minerals to purify and detoxify the body.
- Body Wraps - Tailored to guest's needs from anti-aging to energizing, natural cloth wraps are infused with ingredients to achieve desired results.
- Massage Therapies - Drawing on modern techniques and ancient rituals, guests may enjoy various manipulations to relieve tension and fatigue, to stimulate and heal, or to simply take them on a journey of tranquility. Specific Reiki, Shiatsu, Reflexology and Acupressure treatments are always available.
- Skin Care & Facials - Vibrant healthy skin is a key wellness factor. Treatments will stress deep cleansing, contour, toning, firming and anti-aging. Special anti-toxin treatments are offered to combat the effects of sun, stress, and smog.
- Scalp & Hair Therapy - No body treatment regimen is complete without specific treatments for hair and scalp. Warm oils, finger point massage, and hair masks will restore and heal damaged hair.

Guests will have the option of pre-arranging their spa visit with a telephone consultation prior to their arrival and their spa treatment schedule can be sent to them in advance of arrival.
The modern intimate spa and fitness facility - pristine in soft white hues for women, and rich black tile and accents for men - features six treatment rooms with 'waterfall' windows, an indoor Jacuzzi, steam, sauna, cold plunge pool, Swiss shower room, and a VIP couples chamber with private entrance. The spa was designed with private hallways for staff to ensure privacy and tranquility.
