Second Golf Course Underway for Quivira Los Cabos

Building upon the incredible success of our first Jack Nicklaus Signature Course—a course which garnered nearly every design accolade the golf and travel industry has to offer—we’re proud to announce Quivira is expanding its golf experience at Land’s End on the Baja Peninsula. After crafting a world-class layout that redefined the Cabo golf experience when the Quivira’s Golf Club opened in 2014, Nicklaus is back to design another spectacular course.

Situated within the northwest area of Quivira’s 1,850 acres, several of the holes on the new course will tumble through desert foothills and sweeping valleys, interwoven by twisting, cavernous arroyos. Abounding with natural bunkers, Quivira’s second Jack Nicklaus Signature Course is sure to challenge golfers in new ways. The southern portion of the new course will feature panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and the westernmost point of the Sea of Cortez, which swells with breaching whales during the winter months.  Inland, tall distant peaks will serve as dramatic backdrops. And it’s all just 10 minutes from downtown Cabo San Lucas.

Groundbreaking for Quivira Club’s second Jack Nicklaus Signature Course is expected to take place in 2023. A second golf offering will accommodate the increased demand for the sport at Quivira Club and will happen in tandem with the development’s overall growth, including ultra-exclusive, recently launched projects such as the St. Regis Resort & Residences; the exclusive new real estate community, Old Lighthouse Golf & Ocean Club; and the Alvar hillside condominiums.
